Delete Your Account

You can request permanent deletion of your Know Your Faculty account and the personal data tied to it at any time. This applies to every account created in the Know Your Faculty app, on Android or iOS.
How to request deletion
- In the app: go to Profile → Help & Support, and submit a request asking us to delete your account. Include the email address your account is registered with.
- By email: send a request from your registered account email to connect@knowyourfaculty.com with the subject "Delete my account."
We verify the request comes from the account owner, then delete the account. This is completed within 7 business days, and we'll email you a confirmation once it's done.
What gets deleted, and what we keep

| Payment/transaction records (Credits, Featured Profile, etc.) | Retained — kept for the period required under Indian tax and financial record-keeping law, then deleted. Not linked to your profile after account deletion. |
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want to stop using the app without deleting your data, you can simply log out or stop opening the app — no account deletion is required for that.
